The Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology is temporarily closed.


September 1 – May 14
Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed Mondays, except holidays.

May 15 – August 31
Sunday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.  

Allow at least two to three hours to enjoy our displays and exhibits.

Individual admission tickets can be purchased on site, and are valid for all-day entry. Advance tickets can be ordered online for pick-up from any cashier on the day you visit.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit/Interac, and cash. There is an ATM terminal in our lobby.

Group Rates

Groups of 15 or more, ages 7+, receive a 10% discount on admission, available upon group arrival, or when pre-registered through our Bookings Office. Children who are 6 and under are admitted free of charge, and are not included in the group number for admission discounts.
