You will find the Museum in the heart of the Alberta badlands, 6 km (4 mi) northwest of Drumheller, Alberta, in Midland Provincial Park.

Shuttles
Valley Connect is offering free local service from downtown Drumheller to the Royal Tyrrell Museum and throughout the Drumheller Valley. Shuttles run Fridays and Saturdays from June 26 – August 29, 2026.
FlixBus is offering bus service between Calgary and Drumheller from mid-May through mid-September, 2026. Buy digital tickets through the FlixBus app or website.
Parking
Parking at the Museum is free. Spaces are designated for cars/trucks, recreation vehicles, buses, motor coaches, and bicycles.
In the summer, a courtesy shuttle is available for visitors with limited mobility between the parking lots and the entrance.
We are located in Midland Provincial Park, a day-use only park.
Overnight camping is not permitted.
