Summer in Alberta's badlands can be very hot, often reaching 30°C. However, cool, cloudy, windy, and rainy days are possible. Bring clothing suitable for a range of conditions, including:

Sturdy walking shoes with closed toes, or hiking boots (flip flops, sandals, etc. are not permitted on hikes)

A water bottle (mandatory on outdoor programs when the temperature is over 28°C)
