Discover the wonders of the Alberta badlands through a guided hike in Midland Provincial Park. The badlands tell the story of Alberta's changing environments from the temperate climate of the Cretaceous Period, to today's arid conditions.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult registered in the program.
Ages 3 and under are free.
This program is not wheelchair accessible.
In case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled and refunds issued.

Summer in Alberta's badlands can be very hot, often reaching 30°C. However, cool, cloudy, windy, and rainy days are possible. Bring clothing suitable for a range of conditions, including:
Sturdy walking shoes or hiking boots (flip flops, sandals, etc. are not permitted on hikes)
A water bottle (mandatory on outdoor programs when the temperature is over 28°C)
