Shipper and Receiver

The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Shipper and Receiver to join the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology (RTMP). The Shipper and Receiver will be responsible for backdoor security, shipping and receiving including warehousing services, maintenance of loading and storage areas, and will assist with operation of central stores as required during Museum operating hours. This position will also support fleet vehicle administration and readiness.


Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills 
  • Ability to learn and retain information
  • Positive and friendly manner
  • Dependability  
  • Enjoy being part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50lbs)
  • Class 5 driver’s license

Assets: 

  • Valid security check
  • First Aid certification
  • Forklift certification

Compensation: 

  • Salary based on qualifications and experience

Work Term: to start April 1, 2021

Hours of work: Monday to Friday; 8:15 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
