Science Camp Education Counsellors

Seasonal Science Camp Education Counsellors will live and work on site (July and August) in a residential camp environment, to deliver programs that are educational and recreational for children and families. This position requires extended hours, high amounts of energy, and a strong commitment to working in a team environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children

• Previous camp interpretive experience

• Strong communication skills

• Outdoor leadership skills

• Positive and friendly manner

• A minimum of one year post-secondary training with preference towards Earth and life sciences

• Valid security check

• Valid Standard First Aid certificate

Term: May 1 to August 31, 2018

Salary: $13.60 - $15.25 per hour based on experience and education applicable to each position.

All positions for 2018 are currently filled. We will be accepting applications for 2019 starting December 2018.
