Museum Expansion
As part of the Government of Alberta's Capital Plan, the Museum will soon be expanding to allow for more learning and discovery. Throughout construction we will be open regular seasonal hours, and there will be no impact on our current exhibits.

Scheduled to open in spring 2019, the expansion will include a hands-on learning space, a visitor rest area, additional washrooms, an expanded Distance Learning studio, and a multipurpose space for conferences, large meetings and social gatherings.
In the meantime, we will be open regular seasonal hours, and there will be no impact on our current exhibits.
The upper visitor parking lot will be impacted during construction. However, there will be plenty of parking spaces available in the lower lot. To access the lower parking lot, follow the signs from the upper lot, or take the second or third road on the right, just past the main entrance.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause as we continue to evolve.
